BIO of Dr. Yunquan Zhang

Yunquan Zhang, Ph.D., Director of Parallel Software Laboratory, Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Research Professor. The main research fields are parallel programming and performance evaluation, parallel computing and parallel programming model. Secretary General of CCF TCHPC, Chair of ACM SIGHPC China.

BIO of Dr. Jidong Zhai

Jidong Zhai is a Tenured Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of Tsinghua University. He is a recipient of Siebel Scholar, CCF outstanding doctoral dissertation award, IEEE TPDS Awards for Editorial Excellence, and NSFC Young Career Award. His research interests include high performance computing, performance evaluation, compiler optimization, and heterogeneous computing. He served or is now serving TPC member of SC, ICS, PPOPP, IPDPS, ICPP, NAS, LCPC, and Euro-Par. He is the general secretary of ACM SIGHPC China. He is currently on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems.

BIO of Dr. Cheng Li

Cheng Li is a research professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and a member of the Advanced Data Systems Lab (ADSL). He is currently doing research on high performance AI systems. Past work include RedBlue and PoR consistency for fast and semantic-preserving geo-replication, and have been published at top-tier computer systems conferences like OSDI, ATC, EuroSys, etc. Prior to joining USTC, he was an associated researcher at INESC-ID, Portugal, and a senior member of technical staff at Oracle Labs Swiss. He is a member of ACM Future of Computing Academy and has served as the publication co-chair of EuroSys 2021.

BIO of Dr. Panda

DK Panda is a Professor and University Distinguished Scholar of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University. He has published over 450 papers in the area of high-end computing and networking. The MVAPICH2 (High Performance MPI and PGAS over InfiniBand, Omni-Path, iWARP and RoCE) libraries, designed and developed by his research group (http://mvapich.cse.ohio-state.edu), are currently being used by more than 3,075 organizations worldwide (in 89 countries). More than 710,000 downloads of this software have taken place from the project's site. This software is empowering several InfiniBand clusters (including the 3rd, 5th, 8th, 14th, 15th, and 18th ranked ones) in the TOP500 list. The RDMA packages for Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop and Memcached together with OSU HiBD benchmarks from his group (http://hibd.cse.ohio-state.edu) are also publicly available. These libraries are currently being used by more than 320 organizations in 35 countries. More than 36,000 downloads of these libraries have taken place. High-performance and scalable versions of the Caffe and TensorFlow framework are available from https://hidl.cse.ohio-state.edu. Prof. Panda is an IEEE Fellow. BIO of Mr. Gil Bloch

Mr. Gil Bloch - an HPC and AI specialist with broad experience in fast interconnect technologies for clusters, data centers and cloud computing and is an author/co-author of multiple patents in the area of computer networks and network adapters. Gil Bloch is a RDMA programming instructor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel and the Ben Gurion University is Israel.
