The HPC Advisory Council will hold the 2011 Stanford High-Performance Computing Conference on December 6th and 7th, 2011, together with Stanford University, at Stanford, California. The workshop will focus on High-performance Computing (HPC) usage models and benefits, the future of supercomputing, latest technology developments, best practices and advanced HPC topics. The workshop is open to the public and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates.

The HPC Advisory Council is a large eco-system organization which focuses on bridging the gap between high-performance computing use and its potential, bringing the beneficial capabilities of HPC to new users for better research, education, innovation and product manufacturing, and brings users the expertise needed to operate HPC systems, provide application designers with the tools needed to enable parallel computing, and to strengthen the qualification and integration of HPC system products.
